I'm not sure what's the freebie or if they are even going to have freebie for this upcoming issue but I have a question.. Which stores have them with the freebie? Borders? MPH? Kino? Times? I'm sorry but I'm new to this chic thingy.. I haven't even read my issue 3 yet! lol! I just want the freebie.. hehe..
Having trouble in using pigments? Then have no fear coz fhy is here! Ok that was just full of crap! lol.. So I found a new mixing medium for foiling pigments. I love pigments coz they are very vibrant, can be mix with gloss to make a lip gloss, to make an eyeliner but they're just plain pain in the butt. And foiling or making it wet will meke it easier as it will glides and acts like a liquid shadow.. So to foil the pigments you need a mixing medium. You can use water or fix plus, I tried it but it just clumps.. Some say use eye drops but they mention that the eye drops have visine or glycerin in it.. I tried to find an eye drop with those ingredients but to no avail.. I also tried to use normal eye drops readily available like eye-mo but it still clumps.. So yah I'm sure I bore you enough, hehe.. So Yanie, another fellow blogger here on onsugar was kind enough to give me a sample of the glycerin that she just bought.. Thanks dear! =) I think she use it as some sort of serum? So anyways I tried mixing the pigments with the glycerin and it works!
I just dip a lil teeny bit of the glycerin to the back of my hand together with the pigments of my choice
*the glycerin on my skin give of some sort of warm sensation.. I thought I was allergic to it but it cooled down after awhile.. After trying it again after a few times the warm feeling didn't appear again.. So I don't really know why..Just a warning in case some of you wanted to try it out.. *
Mix it up and ta da.. You have a foiled pigments or a colourful eyeliner.. =)
I decided to try it out on my eyes and remembering linnera did a green eotd reminded me of how much I love to use green looks to work and thus the inspiration of today's/tonight/early morning 1am eotd.. =)
I only use it for the lid and use another dark green shadow for the outer corners..

So I was requested by Yanie to do a tutorial on how to make my brows look non-existence..As this is my first tutorial do bear with me if i get boring ok? ok go!
Disclaimer: For best results, USE PHOTOSHOP! =)
Step 1: Prepare your face, just like how you would prior to wearing makeup, moisturise, prime, foundation(This is for tutorial purpose so I'm not wearing any, so pardon the shiny eyelids..)
Step 2: Take a damp bar of soap(just use any random soap) and rub it against you brows in 1 direction to flatten it..
Step 3: Keep doing this till your brows are totally flat..
Tip: Don't let your soap gets too wet or it will be runny or too dry or it will be too "cakey"
Step 4: Allow it to dry and clean up any mess you made with a q-tip(so it doesn't look too messy after you powder and all) Once it dries, it will give of a 'waxy' feeling..
Step 5: Take a creamy white eyeliner, rub it against your fingers and dab it gently onto your brows to cover it.. Using a white gel liner or nyx jumbo pencils might work better..
Tip: If you need to rub to smooth it out do it in 1 direction. Do it gently to avoid rubbing the liner away..
If the liner is not creamy enough, use a hairdryer to warm it up...
Extra: You can dab it a with a lil bit of white powder or translucent powder over it if you want..
Step 6: Take a thick, creamy foundation and dab it on top... Again gently to avoid rubbing the liner away..(I know I look "scary" at the back! sorry! hehe)
Step 7: Blend the edges and Lightly dab translucent powder over the foundation.. (Its not really perfect and I look powdery and blotchy but whatever!.. =))
Step 8: Lastly draw the shape of your choice..
I hope this tutorial helps you.. It might not turn out ok the first time.. I had to try it multiple times till I get it right! And remember, be gentle! Since the layers are very thick, if your not gentle the previous layers will just get rub off.. and lastly, practise makes perfect.. Do try it and let me know ok..

First off, I've decided to get out of this rut hole aka my life! and be more productive.. I cannot really go away from this site.. Its addictive! Being here makes me happy and not think about my mundane life.. And interacting with your girls makes me happy.. So yah... There's really no point sulking and being upset when things don't go your way coz life's not fair.. As cliche as it is its still true.. Things don't always goes the way you want right? If things always goes the way you want, the world will be in chaos! Imagine all of us will have all the makeup in the world! (That sounds good doesn't it? lol!)
Ok enough emo-shits.. i just got some trays for my makeup! Yeayness! Since I don't have daiso here like you people in the west, I have to settle for those shops on the streets that sells I don't know whatever it is they are called but those that sells pipes, batteries, plugs, Tupperware with the red lid you put cookies for festive seasons, bla bla bla... Might show you how I 'organize' my stash.. Might also do a what's in my bag thing coz i don't know.. (you don't need a reason for everything right?)
I also got hold of the chic issue 3 magazine when I went out to get my monthly dose of magazines and coz I need to know what the rave is about.. I know they give freebies but they don't have freebies where I stay.. If its not coz of you gorgeous people I wouldn't have pick up the magazines in the first place coz it looks like those newsletter type of magazine like the 2.90? people magazine.. You people are such enabler! THANKS AH for making me buy more magazines! First style and now chic?! Oh my poor poor unemployed pocket, its currently having a humongous hole that is beyond repair! lol!
And and and..I am currently in the midst of a diy project.. I'm turning a pencil case(you know those tin kinds?) into a _ _ _.. I need you all to guess.. Maybe I send you a little something something if you get it right? Maybe a mini crabtree and evelyn popular hand cream of your choice? We'll see how it goes..

I have been wanting to do this look since like forever! haha.. no actually since I watched makeupbytiffanyd's did a tutorial based on this look on sephora's website. Its one of the looks for its fall trends section. I don't quite like how it turns out. The pink in the centre didn't turn up nicely.. The shadow were so chalky! but that was the lightest pink I had. The picture also made the pink look a tad whitish to me.. Lashes were being a bitch, they refuse to curl upon using the curler.. So is my camera that keep making me look orange.. And I feel like the blending is all over the place.. I need more tools! hehe.. Sorry for my mini rant, I did the look at 1am.. But overall I love how the closeup eye picture look.. =) I kinda mix the sephora's look with tiffany's technique.. So here's my interpretation of it.. oh btw, pardon the tired eyeballs I had like 6 hrs of sleep for the past 48 hours! Insomnia sucks to the core! Constructive criticism is most welcome.. =)
